Carter Brown Foundation Changing lives four paws at a time. Carter Brown Foundation was established in 2019 in memory of Carter, a beloved family rescue dog.

She spent her 5 short but joyous years as a devoted companion to her humans and playmate to her dog siblings. She spread smiles to everyone she met. She was playful, goofy, gregarious, and terrified of thunderstorms and fireworks. In 2017 Carter was diagnosed with advanced melanoma and passed away. While she left a hole in our hearts and home, her passing inspired this foundation to support dogs

and cats in need so that other pets and humans may have the cherished memories we do, because of her.
