Our neighborhood was established in 2002 and has 154 single family homes. Repeated offenders will be banned from the site.

The Cascades HOA page is where residents will find the most up to date information regarding the neighborhood. Residents are also able to post but please remember any posts that single out a homeowner or group of homeowners will be immediately deleted.

A recent post about bulk trash was removed due to it getting heated and argumentative.

That being said if you have a concern please continue to reach out to the board or management company.

As it relates to bulk trash it can take several days sometimes weeks for items placed curbside to be picked up.

If you need bulk trash picked up you can go to the Wylie website and follow the instructions provided.

Couple quick updates:

Renderings for the front entrance are just about ready for presentation at the annual meeting.

Annual meeting date is being finalized for August.

Lastly, Oncore is giving away up to 2 trees to each home this Fall, just need to complete the form.

With spring cleaning happening around the nieghborhood here's the contact information in order to request a bulk trash pickup.

You MUST call before Tuesday at 5pm for the week you wish to have bulk trash picked up. Otherwise it will roll into the following week.
They have until Saturday at 5pm of the pick-up week to remove it.
If they DON'T remove it -- CALL THEM BACK. (Just a hint).

At last nights board meeting we voted to enter into a contract with Tracy Smith Landscape Architect to design a new front entrance for our community. The expectation of the board is to have this design completed to present to the home owners at the annual meeting (tentatively in June). This would allow the opportunity for the homeowners to vote on moving forward with the design instead of the five member board.

Also we are awaiting two more comparative bids from contractors (to give a total of 3) to repair the sidewalks around the ponds. A vote on the bid would happen after the board has had time to review and discuss the bids.

Lastly, we are in talks with the playground company about repairing the chain wall and the frog. The playground company will also give us quotes for signage to go at each of the entrances into the common area and park benches that can be bolted into the concrete.

The minutes for this meeting will be posted to the website for anyone who wishes to review.

Thanks again for everyones patience as this board gets things up and running again to better the community as a whole.
