Current needs at the Care Center are bar soap, toothbrushes and toothpaste. It is our understanding that these items can't be purchased with food stamps.

27 families helped yesterday!! Not the record number but close. Thank you to those who supported the 20th "Taste of Wylie" event by having lunch with us, sponsoring or contributing to the auctions, or through prayer. Days like yesterday remind us of the need for places like our Care Center that help in hard times.

It's that time of year again...the 20th Taste of Wylie. Great food, a silent auction and a live auction for some special items, all benefitting the Christian Care Center.

We helped 23 families on Wednesday, 4/2/2014 with utility bills, rent, food and clothing. Busy but good day.

One of 5 truckloads of canned food, rice, and boxes of cereal from an annual food drive at Albertson's in Wylie!! Thanks to all who took part in this effort to feed the hungry in the Wylie Area.

We are out of soap!! And laundry soap!!. Its a gift to be able to take a bath and put on clean clothes.
