Wyandotte Jaycees Wyandotte Jaycees: leaders 18-40 who love community service. Members can live anywhere Downriver! We're also friends who have a lot of fun together!

The Wyandotte Jaycees are an organization comprised of people whose collective goal is to promote the welfare of our communities in Wyandotte and other Downriver cities through the completion of proactive community betterment projects. By participating in these activities, the people of our communities develop personal and professional leadership skills, heighten their civic awareness and showcase

their contributions as exemplary citizens. Thus, the overriding purpose of the Wyandotte Jaycees is to facilitate in each of its members' individual development through involvement in community affairs. Members of the Wyandotte Jaycees are young adults ages 21-40 who want to make a positive difference in our community. Our friendships grow as we participate in community service projects, plan seminars, go to socials, and team up for recreational activities. The Wyandotte Jaycees is also a leadership training organization. Much of the leadership training is accomplished through planning and participating in projects and/or committees. Other leadership skills are learned by serving on the Board of Directors. The Wyandotte Jaycees is not just a local group. We're also affiliated with the Michigan Jaycees, the U.S. Jaycees, and Junior Chamber International. These organizations provide additional events and ways to get involved. Come join tomorrow's leaders in action today! People join the Wyandotte Jaycees for lots of different reasons. We offer a wide range of events and activities, so there's something for everyone! You can choose your level of involvement from attending a few activities here or there, or you can dive right in and participate several times a week. Whatever your lifestyle or schedule, you will find many interesting activities in the Wyandotte Jaycees. Our members live and work throughout the metro Detroit area. That’s why we choose to be involved in making a difference in this amazing community day in and day out. Our events may take place in the "Heart of Downriver," but our impact reaches well beyond the city limits.
