Tonight was Opening Ceremonies for State Special Olympics Summer Games.
We have baker/athletes competing in swimming, bocce, track & field and power lifting. Summer games is a big one, though we train and compete in various sports throughout the year.
This is my 50th year coaching/coordinating Special Olympics.

We are attending the State Special Olympics Summer Games in Mt Pleasant. See you all next week. We are competing in swimming, track & field, power lifting and bocce.

Unified Special Olympics State Bocce Competition at MSU today. Chilly day. Loads of fun.
Unified is a team with athlete with a disability and athlete without a disability. Encouraging inclusion & friendships.
Our team brought home 4 Silver medals & 2 Bronze medals.
Thank you Michigan State University for hosting.
