The OFFICIAL page of 501c3 youth and community support non-profit organization Beautifully Unique Inc. “Developing Our Youth… Uplifting Our Communities… Improving Our Futures!” is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Wyandanch, NY started by Yashika Stewart (of Wyandanch, NY) with hopes of empowering and uplifting the youth and the community. was started particularly to help those
in neighborhoods that others seem to have “forgotten about”. We are especially passionate about the youth in our communities because we feel like they need it most. We come from a time when it “took a village to raise a child” but somewhere along the way we have adopted this “all about me” mentality. We have stopped worrying about the issues in the lives of the children that aren’t our own. We have turned a blind eye to the problems in our communities as if ignoring them long enough will make it go away. Unfortunately, that is not the case and the forgotten youth are the ones who are suffering. WHAT DO WE DO? Aside from volunteering and giving back to our communities… We mentor the youth. We organize and host empowerment youth and community events. Our goal is unwavering, it is to nurture, uplift and encourage others to be better and to think beyond their current circumstances. It is to teach them to love themselves and to embrace their individuality and accept what makes them unique. There is a cry for help by the youth across America. In a day and time when soo many young adults are committing su***de, struggling with low self esteem, struggling with being bullied, domestic violence, drugs and alcohol, we need organizations like Beautifully Unique Inc. more than ever! We just simply want to be that glimmer of hope to those that seem to have lost their way. Since 2015, with no funding, no grants and very little financial support, we've managed to assist families in need and give back to the youth. We believe in what we do. We are committed to making a difference! In 2019, we created the Myrtle Stewart-Alston Scholarship Fund in honor of our Founders Mother who passed away in 2018. This scholarship assists deserving High School Seniors in Wyandanch, NY continue their education whether they want to go to college or to trade school. WHY IS SUPPORTING BEAUTIFULLY UNIQUE INC. SO IMPORTANT? is an organization that though non-funded, we are committed to doing our part in changing the world. Though everything we have done has been an out of pocket expense, we have not let it stop us. We do what we can because we truly believe in the vision and are unwavering in our mission. This organization is not about US; it is about fighting for those who have gone unnoticed for far too long. It is about those that have gone without a voice or someone to speak up for them. It is about those that just need someone to give them a little encouragement.
