Wyalusing Community Theatre is excited to announce auditions for our summer production of ‘Little Shop of Horrors’!
Little Shop of Horrors
Based on the Film by Roger Corman

Book & Lyrics by Howard Ashman
Music by Alan Menken
Directed by Carla Salsman
Music Directed by Brasha Croteau-Smith

📣Auditions will take place on May 17th from:
10am - 12pm,
12:30-2:30, and
3pm-5pm at the TW Room in Wyalusing.

📣Video Sumissions will be accepted until May 22, 2026 and they can be sent to [email protected]

📣Performances will be from July 30 to August 2, 2026.

Little Shop of Horrors is a comedy horror rock musical by Alan Menken and Howard Ashman, featuring a meek florist who discovers a carnivorous, R&B-singing plant. Set in a Skid Row flower shop, the plant—named Audrey II—promises fame and fortune in exchange for human blood, leading to a hilariously dark tale of exploitation, greed, and global domination.
Please prepare at least a one minute musical selection, and a monologue. Be prepared to do some acting and/or musical improvisation or cold reads. You may sing A Capella, or bring prerecorded accompaniment; no accompanist will be present.

Last night, a local family lost their home to a devastating fire.

They are safe—but everything else is gone.

This is a family of five, including three young children, who now need a place to land… quickly.

Right now, we are searching for a rental home immediately—even something temporary—to help them get back on their feet.
