Ladies and Gentlemen, you know what time it is! It’s time for, Rotarian Spotlight!!! 🎉 On this week’s edition, we are spotlighting…*drumroll*… Mr. Joey Bachman! *Insert Cheers here*
Joe is an Eastern York SD grad, class of 1980, and a York College of Pennsylvania class of 1984 alumni. He is semi-retired and is working part time with Visiting Angels. For 39 years, Joe worked in retail management for K-mart, Dollar-General, and HomeGoods.
He is married to his wife, Ethel, of 26 years. He has a son, Brandon, who resides right here in Wrightsville. His daughter, Brianne and Son-in-Law, Taylor, along with their kids, (Joe’s grandkids), Jordi Rae, Briggston, and Tenleigh, currently reside in Ft. Myers FL.
Joe’s hobbies/ interests include helping others. He is the director of the Eastern York work Camp Initiative and Director of the Evolve Life Group. He also delivers Meals on Wheels. Joe enjoys watching game show and food network. Joey loves the Pirates, Steelers, and 76ers.
He joined Rotary because of the motto, “Service above Self” and has been a Rotarian for almost 2 years! Joe likes Rotary because of the ability to help people in our community, nationally, and internationally. In our own club, he enjoys the friendships and working beside fellow Rotarians to do good in our community.
It is worth noting, that Joe has been on 17 Mission Trips, and was in youth ministry for more than 40 years! (Just don’t ask him who the youth pastor was 😉)
Also, he LOVES The Bee Gees!
