Attention Wrightsville and Eastern York Families! 🇺🇸🏕️
Cub Scout Pack 26 is officially making a comeback!
For over a century, Scouting has been a cornerstone organization in Wrightsville and other local communities. Pack and Troop 26 have been shaping the finest citizens in our community since before 1928. After the disruptions of the last few years, it is time to bring that proud American tradition back to life for the next generation of youth.
We are spreading the news to all families from Wrightsville, East Prospect, Craley, Hallam, and the entire Eastern York School District. Cub Scouts is open to both Boys and Girls in Kindergarten through 5th Grade.
(If you have an older child who is age 11 and up, let us know and we will happily connect them with the Scout Troop!)
Cub Scout Pack 26 is all about giving kids a well-rounded, hands-on experience. While we love getting them away from screens and out into nature for hikes and proper camping trips, that is only part of the adventure. We also focus heavily on community service, learning practical life skills, building projects, and enjoying classic traditions like the Pinewood Derby.
We are finalizing the details for an official "Join Scouts" night and our first Parents Meeting shortly after Labor Day this September. We haven't locked in our exact weekly meeting night yet because we want to get a consensus from the families joining us to see what works best.
