Does everyone remember when we produced our own version of Cyrano De Bergerac? While this movie is different from the classic play in multiple ways, it's still a good interpretation. If you love Cyrano in anyway like we do, it's a good watch and fully recommended.

This has been an amazing journey. We thank everyone who has been with us all these years, whether it was one season or many. No matter what role you played in our group we say many thanks. We wish everyone well. Thank you all for helping bring the magic to the public and raising funds for the library.

Announcement from The Village Library's Board of Trustees:
Discontinuation of the Renaissance Faire

It is with great sadness, that due to circumstances beyond our control, we must announce that the Village Library of Wrightstown will no longer be holding our annual Renaissance Faire. For 20 years the Renaissance Faire has been the Library’s primary fundraiser. We appreciate the community’s support and thank all the volunteers, vendors and participants for making the event possible. Most of all we would like to thank Ken Hone who has been the Faire Director for the duration of the event. As we move forward in search of new fundraising opportunities, we hope the community will continue to support the Village Library of Wrightstown.

Everyone is so focused on summer. Do you know what you are doing while the kids go back to school in September? That time when they long to play and have fun again? WE know what we're doing.

We're going to the Ren Faire! The Wrightstown Village Renaissance Fair is only a couple of months away! We're making plans and counting down. Are you one who is ready to visit? Or are you one that wants to be immersed in it and see the behind the scenes while getting everyone else to believe?

The weather might be chilly but we're thinking of the Faire in 6 months! If you are interested in participating as a Village Player, reach out and let us know. We'd love to hear from you and we'll get you to the right people to have you enter the land were all disbelief is suspended.

For those who need the clarification, a Village Player is a volunteer who helps bring the Faire to life for all in attendance. Whether it's a small or big role, every Player is important in making the Faire come alive for the weekend. An example of a small role is to dress up, wander around the Faire and maybe give directions a time or two. A big role is variant on the volunteer and how interactive they want to get with the audience.

There is never an age limit, though those under 18 must have parental consent and a parent present.

Shoot us a message if the call to participate has reached you, or if you simply want to know more about being a Village Player.

The countdown continues! Can you imagine the fantasies to begin this year? We hope you join us. There might be alum, there might be new players. You never know until you come. All may join and bring the faire to life. One only has to supsend belief.
