Meet LUNA

The first 2 photos pictures are the ones we received that fueled her rescue. Despite being saved from such deplorable conditions and being "bred to death" by puppy mills, Luna surprised us with her bright personality.

Luna is a Newfoundland Lanseer. She is estimated at about 3 years old, up to date on her shots and has gotten a clean bill of health from our vet. After a year in our care, Luna has become more sociable, is house trained and responds to basic commands such as "sit" and "stay" etc. She is great with kids but often forgets her size, very lovable, playful and is truly a "nanny dog". When another rescue of ours was pregnant, she didn't leave the puppies side and slept outside of their kennel at night. Luna is an amazing dog with so much love left to give!

It is with a heavy heart that I post this because Luna has really become a part of our family, but the goal was always to rescue and rehome. Unfortunately, I can't keep every dog I save. If you have questions or would like to meet Luna, please contact me here or call 609-731-9497

Last night our rescue took in a tiny little guy at 4 days old! For now his name is Harvey which means battle worthy! He's a pit bull husky mix and his mom rejected him. We'll be working hard to nurse him back to health and give him a fighting chance!
