Miami Valley Military Affairs Association (MVMAA)

The MVMAA was honored to continue their consistent presence and participation in a very special event, the POW/MIA Recognition Day Ceremony held on September 18, 2026 at WPAFB. It is events such as this that bring our civilian and military community together in shared remembrance of the sacrifice our military members make for all of us. It is a reminder of the importance of that relationship and just why the Miami Valley Military Affairs Association was created in 1980. Today, we celebrate the hard work, dedication, and contributions of workers across the country.

From classrooms and campuses to offices, job sites, hospitals, and communities, people make a difference every day through their commitment to serving others and building a stronger future.

For many student veterans, Labor Day is especially meaningful. They balance school, work, family responsibilities, and community involvement while continuing to pursue their goals.

Whether you're spending the day with family and friends, enjoying a well-earned break, or preparing for the semester ahead, we hope you have a safe and enjoyable Labor Day.

Power means nothing without character.

Integrity First isn't about never making a mistake; it is about never compromising our standards.

Reserve Airmen know America's greatest advantage has never been its equipment.

It’s the people behind it.
