At Wright City Fire Protection District, we are committed to being good stewards of taxpayer dollars. That’s why we actively pursue grant opportunities whenever possible to help supplement our budget.

Assistant Chief Joshua Riebe and Fire Corps President Kathi Hurst are currently researching and applying for a grant for a van that the Fire Corps could utilize during deployment.

Every grant application is an opportunity to bring valuable resources to our district, and we will continue seeking funding opportunities that help us provide the highest level of service possible.

Thank you for your continued support of Wright City Fire Protection District Fire Corps

This interactive class included life and business skills, first aid, CPR, behavior management techniques (and more) to students interested in their own safety and the safety of children placed in their care.
The next Safe Sitter class is scheduled for September 19, 2026. Registration details will be posted on this page.

This is fantastic! Thank you, Cuivre River Electric Cooperative, Inc.!👏

We are incredibly grateful to announce that the Wright City Fire Protection District has been awarded a $5,380 grant through the Cuivre River Electric Community Trust Operation Round Up program.

These funds will be used to purchase two sets of turnout gear for our firefighters, critical protective equipment that helps keep our crews safe while serving our community.

A huge THANK YOU to the Cuivre River Electric Cooperative, Inc. and every cooperative member who rounds up their bill each month to support programs like this. Your generosity makes a real impact right here in our community. ❤️

We are proud to serve Wright City and thankful for organizations that continue to support local emergency services.

Throwing it back to last year’s Summer Splash 💦☀️

The kids had an absolute blast, and we can’t wait to be back again this year!

📅 Join us on Saturday, July 11 at Diekroeger Park for another fun day with the community.

The Wright City Fire Corps will be there along with the Wright City Fire Protection District firefighters 🚒—spending time with families, mingling, and enjoying a great day together.

We’re so excited to see everyone again! 💙
