🥣 A healthy breakfast can make a big difference in a child's day!

Our Healthy Breakfast Kits for Kids Anywhere Project is a great way for your kids to help other kids right here in Central Ohio! 💚

We're thrilled to team up with our longtime friends at WARM - Westerville Area Resource Ministry, which helps local families facing food insecurity and other challenges build a path toward stability.

Designed for kids ages 4–12, this project can be completed from home, school, or wherever works best for you! You'll assemble nutritious breakfast kits, add caring messages, and help give young neighbors the fuel they need to learn, grow, and thrive.

📅 It’s not too late! Complete your project by October 18!

Happy work anniversary to our Brand and Communications Manager, Carrie Hay! 🎉

Long before Carrie officially joined our staff, she was helping build Seeds of Caring from the ground up. She volunteered her incredible talents to develop our strong brand and helped give this new organization an identity before most people even knew who we were.

Today, Carrie is the magic behind so much of how our community knows and trusts Seeds of Caring. She takes the stories happening every day through our programs and brings them to life in ways that no one else can. She is a marketing ninja who helps families see why this work matters and inspires them to jump in and be part of it.

Carrie is also simply the best kind of teammate: creative, generous, always willing to lend a hand, and apparently the only one among us qualified to keep our office plants alive.

We're so grateful for you, Carrie! ✨

There’s something special about watching young people discover the power of helping others.

Last week, Godman Guild and Seeds of Caring came together for another meaningful volunteer activation, this time in our new home at 555 S. Front Street. Nineteen children joined us, alongside parents, caregivers, and volunteers, bringing our group to 37 community members working side by side.

Together, they assembled 35 STAR Learner Kits and 115 Treat Bags for our neighbors. More importantly, they shared kindness, compassion, and the reminder that even small acts of service can make a big difference.

We are so grateful to Seeds of Caring for their partnership and to every child, youth, and adult who spent part of their day giving back. Thank you for helping fill our new space with generosity, connection, and community from the very beginning.

🍎 WORLD TEACHERS’ DAY + WORLD KINDNESS DAY = an A+

Today, on World Teachers’ Day, we’re celebrating the educators who help kids grow into thoughtful, caring humans every single day. And we have a little something to help them keep that kindness growing!

Our FREE World Kindness Day Educator Toolkit gives K–8 educators everything they need to help students explore this year’s theme: Kindness Changes Communities. Through age-appropriate lessons and activities, kids will discover how their everyday choices can build a kinder classroom, school, and community.

📣 IMPORTANT: Educators have until OCTOBER 16 to register for a physical toolkit delivered right to their school! After that, digital kits will still be available until November 20.

Know an amazing K–8 educator? Tag them below or send this their way. Consider it a World Teachers’ Day gift that keeps on giving. 💚
