Happy (early) Labor Day! School may be closed, but our Anywhere Projects are always open! Why not use the long weekend to complete one at home? Or plan ahead to join us for a future In Person Event. Here are a few ideas:

🎸 Rocking Together with Seniors at Wesley Glen (Saturday, September 19)
Who doesn’t want to sign, dance, and make new friends? We will be doing just that on 9/19 with the beloved Joanie Calem leading us in song and activities. Jump in for this free, in-person, intergenerational celebration while bringing joy to Wesley Glen residents.

🐾 Senior PetCare and Donation Drive with LifeCare Alliance (Saturday, September 26)
One week later and we’ll be learning about the importance of pet companionship to many homebound seniors. We’ll collect and pack pet food and create toys to accompany the Meals on Wheels deliveries for senior friends. See you there!

🍞 Healthy Breakfast Kits for Kids with WARM - Westerville Area Resource Ministry (Through October 18)
In this Anywhere Project, kids will warm hearts and fill bellies by packing a healthy breakfast filled with kid-friendly favorites! Children will learn how hunger can affect our bodies and minds and then take action by writing caring messages and packing healthy breakfasts for kids supported by WARM.
