πŸ’› Kindness never goes out of style. πŸ’™

Every time Lions step up to serve, support a neighbor, or bring hope to someone in need, we wear kindness proudly. Our traditional Lions yellow vest represents compassion, inclusion, and service in action.

Together, we can create communities where kindness leads the way. 🌟

The Lions International Peace Poster Contest is an international contest that encourages children, ages 11 to 13 to creatively express what peace means to them. This year’s contest theme was β€œTogether As One.” Congratulations to these two McCord Middle School students, Myla Miller, $75 award winner and Katherine Popova, $50 award winner who were presented their Worthington Noon Lions Club monetary awards from WNL Club President, Ty Nisthauz at last night’s McCord Middle School β€œEvening of Excellence” event. The Worthington Noon Lions Club received 105 art entries this year, and hope to receive even more for next year’s competition. All 5 middle schools are encouraged to participate each year. The participating middle school art departments that sent entries this year will also receive a $100.00 monetary donation in recognition for their collaboration.

On Monday, April 27, 2026 the Worthington Noon Lions Club had its annual Worthington Schools β€œSchool Volunteer Recognition Program” at the Worthington Education Center. This event is one of our signature community service projects. A lovely reception was held before the official school board meeting. Worthington Mayor, Scott Holmes, Worthington Superintendent, Dr. Trent Bowers, Worthington School Board President, Amber Epling-Skinner. building principals, family members and friends joined our Lions Club members in celebrating our awesome school volunteers during this phenomenal evening. Congratulations to all the volunteers nominated and selected from their respective buildings!!! We applaud them and everything they do for the buildings in which they serve! We appreciate being able to collaborate with the directors of secondary and elementary education, Emilie Greenwald and Rob Messenheimer who helped facilitate the program process!
