Recently, Cathy, our Advocacy Support & Data Administrator, attended the 2026 Office of Justice Programs (OJP) Conference in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota.

This annual conference brings together victim advocates, criminal justice professionals, law enforcement, Tribal services, and other professionals committed to supporting victims and strengthening communities. Throughout the two-day event, attendees participated in multidisciplinary training sessions covering important topics such as restorative justice, crime victim rights, victim reimbursement, and Missing and Murdered Indigenous Relatives (MMIR) and Missing and Murdered Black Women and Girls.

Professional development opportunities like this help ensure our team stays informed about emerging issues, best practices, and resources that strengthen the support we provide to survivors across the counties we serve.

Thank you to the Minnesota Department of Public Safety's Office of Justice Programs for hosting another meaningful and informative conference!
