On June 20th, we’re hosting the 13th annual Butch’s Bucket Brigade 5K and Kid’s Bike Race in memory of “Pup,” and we’re looking for people who want to make a difference.
The Worthington West Franklin Volunteer Fire Department gave so much to our family, and they continue to do so much for our community every single day. This race is our way of giving back, and you can be part of that.

Huge thank you to all of our amazing sponsors for supporting this year’s 5K and bike race! 💚🚴‍♂️🏃‍♀️ We raised $2,100 for the Worthington West Franklin Volunteer Fire Department — a cause close to our hearts. The race is held in memory of Larry “Butch” Cypher, a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, and former fire chief who meant the world to us. We’re grateful for everything the department does to keep our community safe and glad we can give back to those who give so much. ❤️👨‍🚒

What an amazing day we had!🤩 A huge THANK YOU to everyone who showed up, ran, biked, volunteered, cheered, and supported our 5K and bike race—it was a huge success! We’re so grateful for every participant, every helping hand, and especially our incredible sponsors who made this all possible. ❤️

The Worthington West Franklin Volunteer Fire Department has always shown up for our family and this whole community—and they continue to show up every year to help with this race.

Even though the event is built around Butch, the real purpose is to give back to the fire department. None of it would happen without them.

Every dollar raised from the 5K and bike race goes straight to the department. We’re proud to support the people who support all of us. 🚒
