Thoughts and prayers go out to the Sherrill Fire Department and the Lahey family.

It is with extremely heavy hearts we announce the passing of one our brothers, Captain Frank Lahey after a courageous battle with cancer. Frank was our training officer, and served 23 years on the dept. Our hearts hurt, and Frank will be missed forever. Until we meet again Frank. Rest in Peace 1325, we will take it from here.🚒💜🖤

This National Volunteer Week, we want to take a moment to recognize the incredible men and women who serve our community through our volunteer fire department.

These individuals answer the call at all hours—leaving their families, jobs, and daily routines—to protect and care for others. Their dedication, courage, and selflessness do not go unnoticed.

Thank you to our volunteers for everything you do to keep our community safe. We are proud to stand beside you and grateful for your service today and every day. 🚒❤️
