It doesn’t matter if you help during a medical emergency, a fire or fundraiser! There are some many ways you can help within the Worthington Fire Department! It’s something you wouldn’t regret doing!

Starting tonight, members of the WFD will be going door to door with tickets for our cash raffle! Tickets are $5 a chance. The drawing will be held the second Monday in June! As always, we’re looking to add members to our family and this is a great time to get any questions you may have answered! Thanks for the support!

This National Volunteer Week, we want to take a moment to recognize the incredible men and women who serve our community through our volunteer fire department.

These individuals answer the call at all hours—leaving their families, jobs, and daily routines—to protect and care for others. Their dedication, courage, and selflessness do not go unnoticed.

Last night members of the Worthington Fire Department held our annual officer elections. Congratulations to our newly elected officials and we wish them good luck as they embark on their leadership journey!

Tonight we assisted in burning 80 acres of CRP ground for one of our community members! We had perfect weather and an even better crew of firefighters to help with this! We do several controlled burns a year for anyone in our community. Whether it is CRP ground, out buildings or even abandoned homes. We will gladly assist you and it is amazing experience for our members to participate in. Reach out to any department member to see how we can help you! We are also looking to add more dedicated individuals to our fire family!

I would like to say thank you to everyone that came to our Breakfast today.
We had a great day, but this could not happen without the support of the community and surrounding communities who come and support us every year!!

We are looking to add individuals that are willing to carry us into the future! You can do that by joining as firefighter, EMS provider or both! No experience? That’s no problem; you provide the heart and we will take care of the rest!
