🚆 Imagine hopping on a train right here in Hilliard and heading to Columbus, Pittsburgh, or even Chicago — no traffic, no stress, just smooth, efficient travel. That future is one step closer!

The City of Hilliard is investing in the next phase of planning for the Midwest Connect passenger rail project with a $50,000 contribution, joining regional partners in shaping one of the most transformative transportation efforts in decades.

Here's why this matters:
✨ More travel options for work, play, and everything in between
🌎 A greener, more efficient way to get around — up to 46% more efficient than driving
📈 A boost to our local economy, connecting us to 1 million projected new jobs by 2040

With existing rail lines running right through our city, Hilliard is perfectly positioned to be a future stop on this exciting new route. We've been preparing for this for over a decade — and now, we're making our vision a reality.

Let's get on board! 🚉

Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs) have been used as a tool to increase affordable housing options, support multigenerational living, generate income for homeowners, and promote sustainable land use. However, challenges such as zoning restrictions, financing barriers, and a lack of public awareness have limited their development in our community.

On March 20th, join co-hosts CONVERGENCE Columbus, lemders and other key stakeholders to collaboratively advance programs and strategies that support ADU development in our region.

February 9th -15th is Ohio Loves Transit week. Planning around multimodal transit options gives residents choice and makes a community more inclusive in case the dominant mode of transit isn’t a choice. As Worthington begins its Comprehensive Planning process we hope Transit Oriented Development zoning is part of the solution.

The antisemitism of the callers to the City of Worthington Council Meeting does not represent the residents of Worthington. WISE condemns those comments and will fight against views like these.
