Executive Director Halil Demir enjoyed celebrating the designation by Mayor Johnson of August as Turkish Heritage Month and we loved sharing a special time in our with those committed to making the experience in Chicago safe and welcoming.

As part of our outreach efforts, our team delivered around 200 beautifully handmade cards to several assisted living communities in and , North Carolina. Each card carried heartfelt messages of appreciation and care, bringing comfort and happiness to residents while fostering meaningful community connections. 💙
We are also incredibly grateful to Altenew for their generous donation of beautifully handcrafted Father's Day cards, thank you for helping us spread joy!

Our team and spent time last week distributing hot meals and connecting with residents at a new senior housing facility in , helping create a welcoming and uplifting atmosphere.
