Why is the Day of Arafah considered one of the Days of Allah?

Because Allah Almighty swore by it in the Holy Qur’an:

> “By the witnessing day and the witnessed day.”
— Many scholars of interpretation said that “the witnessed day” refers to the Day of Arafah.

The Prophet ﷺ said:

> “Fasting on the Day of Arafah, I hope from Allah that it will expiate the sins of the previous year and the coming year.”
(Narrated by Muslim)

On this day, Allah completed the religion:

> “This day I have perfected for you your religion, completed My favor upon you, and have approved for you Islam as your religion.”
(Surah Al-Ma’idah: 3) — This verse was revealed on the Day of Arafah.

It is the best day for supplication (du‘a’):

> The Prophet ﷺ said: “The best supplication is the supplication on the Day of Arafah.”

What is recommended on the Day of Arafah?

Fasting (for those not performing Hajj)

Abundant remembrance of Allah and supplication

Saying Takbeer (Allahu Akbar) and Tahleel (La ilaha illa Allah)

Repentance and seeking forgiveness

Indeed, it is one of the blessed Days of Allah, in which rewards are multiplied, du‘a is answered, and many are freed from the Hellfire.

Don’t forget to make du‘a for the one who shared this post and their parents.
O Allah, forgive us and all believing men and women.

لماذا يُعد يوم عرفة من أيام الله؟

لأن الله سبحانه وتعالى أقسم به في القرآن الكريم:

> "وَشَاهِدٍ وَمَشْهُودٍ" – قال كثير من المفسرين إن "المشهود" هو يوم عرفة.

قال النبي ﷺ:

> "صيام يوم عرفة، أحتسب على الله أن يكفّر السنة التي قبله، والسنة التي بعده" (رواه مسلم).

وفيه أكمل الله الدين:

> "اليوم أكملت لكم دينكم وأتممت عليكم نعمتي ورضيت لكم الإسلام دينًا" (المائدة: 3) – وقد نزلت هذه الآية يوم عرفة.

هو أفضل الأيام في الدعاء:

> قال ﷺ: "خير الدعاء دعاء يوم عرفة".

ماذا يُستحب في يوم عرفة؟

صيامه لغير الحاج

الإكثار من الذكر والدعاء

التكبير والتهليل

التوبة والاستغفار

فهو بالفعل من أيام الله التي يُعظم فيها الأجر، ويُستجاب فيها الدعاء، ويُعتق فيها الكثير من النار...
لا تنسوا صاحب المنشور ووالديه من الدعاء..
