NAMSDL is excited to become a Division of the Foundation for Drug Policy Solutions - the new national drug policy “Think and Do Tank’ formed to offer bold solutions to the addiction crisis facing America.

The National Alliance for Model State Drug Laws (NAMSDL) and SAFE Project are proud to announce their partnership to co-produce the national resource, SAFE Takes. The blending of each organization’s policy expertise with NAMSDL’s research strengths will provide new insight and “takes” on where White House and National Governors Association priorities are progressing in state and local communities. These results will inform government, communities, non-profits, public and private sectors to understand gaps, challenges, and opportunities to positively impact the country’s addiction crisis.

As NAMSDL joins the entire nation in marking this historic day, we recommit to the hard work that lies ahead to achieve liberty and justice for all.

“Let’s make Juneteenth a commemorative, not of the horrific institution our country embraced, but rather as a showcase of the strength in the American spirit to recognize wrong and set about making it right. In this same spirit America moves ahead today in leveling playing fields and achieivng ever greater equality. Let us celebrate all that Juneteenth teaches us about our country's greatness in our use of the heart to hear and to learn and to work together for all that is good and just.”

NAMSDL is here to ensure best practices inform state policies, legislation, and regulations. Let's all do our part to end this epidemic.

Shatterproof Take Action:

funds cannot be misspent. Too many lives are on the line. Join me and to call for a transparent process for allocating these funds.
