Our baseball coaches and coordinators would like to acknowledge David Matt for his dedication and hard work throughout the baseball season!

Despite sustaining a difficult injury that prevented him from completing the season with his team, David played through and showcased his versatility by taking on multiple positions, all while maintaining a positive attitude. We wish David a smooth recovery and eagerly anticipate his return to football in the fall! 💙

Congratulations to our BGC Athlete of the Month, Zoey Brown-Sonder! 🏅

“Zoey consistently shows dedication through her positive attitude, commitment to her team, and willingness to always try her best,” said Coach Jerry. “Her great sportsmanship and kindness toward others make her a wonderful role model.”

Zoey has participated in basketball, volleyball, soccer, and is currently playing baseball. She is always ready to take on new challenges and help wherever needed.

We are proud to recognize her versatility, team spirit, and enthusiasm for sports!

Michael Sepulveda is our June Athlete of the Month! ⚽

Michael truly "emulates what it means to be a team player and captain." Throughout the season, he has consistently put others first, whether that meant sharing his shin guards or extra socks with a teammate in need, making sure everyone felt included, or stepping up to play whatever position the team needed.

Coach Josh shared that Michael "hustles nonstop during practice and games," showing perseverance and grit every time he takes the field. Whether he's making saves as goalie, playing defense, or helping on offense, he always gives his best effort and puts the team first.

What stands out most is the way Michael leads by example. He selflessly passes the ball, encourages his teammates, and brings a positive attitude to every practice and game. His actions show what teamwork, sportsmanship, and leadership are all about.

Congratulations, Michael! Keep leading the way both on and off the field. 👏
