Calling all young people ages 8 and up who are interested in the pipe organ to attend this free event. Hear a demonstration of one of the largest organs in Massachusetts, learn how it works, have a chance to play it, and have pizza for lunch! Scan the QR code or go to WorcesterAGO.org for more information. Parents and teachers are welcome as well. This is designed to expose young people to the fascinating world of the Pipe Organ - THE KING OF INSTRUMENTS! Some may even be interested in learning how to play it! All music students, but especially piano students, will be excited by this event! Spread the word!

Inviting all young people who are inspired and intrigued by the wonderful sounds of a pipe organ! Pedals, Pipes and Pizza is a free event where you'll experience a demonstration of one of the largest organs in New England, have a chance to play it, get a look inside a pipe organ, see of video of the most famous organist in the world and enjoy pizza. Paul Fey Organ Recital

Manchester, New Hampshire

Travel to Manchester on Thursday evening for an evening of majestic organ music with Paul Fey, organist and composer.

This concert will be hosted by Saint Hedwig Roman Catholic Church (147 Walnut Street in Manchester NH) on March 5th at 7pm. The program will include organ works by Paul Fey, Bach, Young and Satie.

Admission is free; a freewill offering will be taken to support Saint Hedwig's music ministry.

Beyond the Organ Bench offers participants the opportunity to learn together with a unique choice of focus:
9:30AM - Meet and Greet with coffee and donuts
10AM - choose between Inspiring Ideas for Children’s & Youth Choirs or Quick & Easy Handbells workshops (select one when registering)
11:30AM - roundtable conversation regarding recruitment and retention
12:15PM - catered lunch
1PM - concert featuring organ plus one and performances by the morning workshop attendees

The day culminates in a concert that brings everything together: music learned during the opening sessions will be shared alongside organ and instrumental duets, celebrating collaboration and the many ways music can enrich worship beyond a single bench. If you are interested in performing in this concert, either on the organ bench or playing the solo instrument, please reach out to me as soon as possible.

Whether you’re looking to expand your skills, explore new musical tools, or reconnect with the joy of collaborative music-making, Beyond the Organ Bench promises a day of learning, conversation, and inspiration that reaches far beyond the keys.
