Worcester Latino Dollars for Scholars (WLDS) is a charitable non-profit organization founded in 1994.

The Worcester Latino Dollars for Scholars is a private non-profit organization in the Latino community dedicated to provide financial assistance to Latino students from Worcester as they pursue higher education opportunities. A Worcester educator Edwin Hernandez recognized the need to encourage the pursuit of higher education by Latino students and provide financial assistance. In its 25 years his

tory Dollars for Scholars has provided more than $484,000 to 902 Latino Students from Central Massachusetts. The foundation has earned affiliation with Scholarship America's Dollars for Scholars Program and has attracted 100 Volunteer leaders.
