Two weeks ago, our founder Victoria De Leon pitched Infinita Latina at her Moonshot Fellowship showcase, sharing her vision for a leadership and mentorship program rooted in culture, confidence, and community.

This moment marks the end of her fellowship and the beginning of something even bigger.

Victoria embodies the infinite power of what happens when Latinas lead with heart, conviction, and community at the center.

We’re so proud of her for pouring her heart into this work and so excited for what’s ahead.

We’re just getting started! ✨

✨Executive Alert✨

Hey everyone! 💕 My name is Victoria De Leon, I am the Founder & Chief Executive Officer at Woke Lit Womxn✊🏽 I‘m a proud Latina🇲🇽, a Colorado native, & I‘m a junior at the College of the Holy Cross majoring in Political Science & Spanish with a concentration in Latin American, Latinx, & Caribbean Studies. I‘m currently working at a communications & marketing company in Colorado as a youth advisor for a campaign that promotes connectedness between youth & adults!

I am so proud to have founded an organization that is rooted & centered in empowering & amplifying the voices of BIPOC womxn. Oftentimes we hear the phrase “a voice for the voiceless” & I’m here to tell you that there’s no such thing as “voiceless BIPOC womxn”; rather there is a lack of accessibility to large platforms & for far too long our voices have gone unheard, ignored, & erased from history altogether. That is why we’ve poured all of our energy into becoming a platform for BIPOC womxn to feel heard & have the conversations centered around US and OUR experiences. In just 5 months our digital community has reached hundreds of young BIPOC womxn across the world— that is what happens when we hand over the mic to BIPOC womxn.

I am so excited & hopeful for the future of Woke Lit Womxn. I am especially grateful to be working alongside a community of passionate, driven, talented, & diverse womxn who have empowered me & supported my mission. Stay tuned for new projects & launches. 👀

Ladies, stay WOKE & LIT🦋

✨Executive Alert✨

Hi everyone, I’m Yilan and I’m the current CFO/CTO for WLW! I just graduated from Harvard this year with a degree in Applied Math and Econ. Now, I’m working at a tech company in Austin, Texas.

I’m a Cancer, and in my free time I love cooking, going on walks with my Aussie puppy, and volunteering!

I joined Woke Lit Womxn in March because I wanted to find ways to elevate the voices of womxn that are historically silenced. I think it is so important for Asian Americans to stand in solidarity with the black community and do what we can to fight for justice, especially since the model minority myth often causes dissonance and rifts between BIPOC communities. I am so excited be moving forward on the Executive Board and continue working to tear down barriers and obstructions to equity for low income, underserved, and marginalized groups!

I hope that all of our wonderful followers and supporters join us in our fight against racial and socioeconomic injustices as we continue to grow as an organization!💕 Yilan Yang

yes, we’re LIT but we’re also WOKE so here are some helpful tips as classes begin this week!✨

as BIPOC students we are often left to feel like we are alone in our struggle through higher education— but we are not. we are all feeling very similar things and although our experiences and circumstances aren’t the same we are still here for each other.

wishing everyone success and growth this semester✊🏽 we’re rooting for yall💖
