Who said life-saving skills should wait until adulthood? The earlier we teach CPR, the safer our communities become. 💪🌟
Every Wednesday at 51 Gage Street, Community Health Awareness Network Grows Equity (CHANGE ) brings health and hygiene education to middle school students at the ACE After School Program through our Healthy Habits Initiative (HHI). What started as simple conversations around handwashing has grown into meaningful discussions about mental health, diet, exercise, leadership, and healthy living. Watching our youth become more engaged, curious, and empowered each week has been an amazing journey.
And today’s conversation? CPR. 🚑❤️ From learning when to call 911 to understanding chest compressions and emergency response basics, these students are gaining practical skills that could one day help save a life. Today was beyond amazing, because preparing youth early means building stronger, safer communities for tomorrow.
