Mission Possible A to Z

Mission Possible A to Z All projects are sustainable, environmentally responsible and designed to foster economic growth and development at the Sunflower Orphanage in Zambia.

Mission Possible I
The first project was support for education, raising funds and shipping 27,000 lbs of library and textbooks, and collecting school supplies. The shipment contained medical supplies, computers, bicycles, and a new all-terrain vehicle. Additional funds were raised to dig a water well, complete with a water storage tank for the villagers of Kamushanga. A travel team was assembled t

o work with orphans at House of Joy, operated by the Sisters of Mother Theresa’s Missionaries of Charity and food was distributed to the local villagers. Mission Possible II
The focus of this project turned to Mulungushi Agro, a remote area where the Sunflower Family Orphanage was established. A Belgian missionary priest, Fr. Pierre Ruquoy helped to start this home for many homeless boys and girls. Presently, over 100 children live in the orphanage. This project’s focus was to raise funds to build shelters and purchase land for vegetable crops, dig a well, establish a small chicken farm, and purchase additional livestock. In 2013, the team raised money and helped construct an 80’x 100’ tilapia pond. Today this pond provides an annual yield of 4,000 fish to feed the children, with additional fish to trade for other necessities. While the team was in Zambia, the children were educated about environmental and sustainable fish farming. Mission Possible III
In 2014, projects will consist of the construction of a food pantry/storage facility, and the planting of a plot of moringa trees. The goal of this project is to maintain a month’s supply of the basic needs for the children of flour, sugar, nshima (a white corn meal eaten at every meal), as well as other staple items and animal feed which are currently purchased weekly. The moringa project will supply an abundance of nutritional supplements to the diet of the children, as moringa is known as a miracle tree. Future Projects & Missions:
The organization has recognized the need to establish a library for the orphanage to improve an access to education for the children, construct high tunnels for year-round growing, and provide electricity to the high school.

Who will be next? This only proves that Biden, Pelosi and others who pretend to be Catholic, just to get the votes, will do anything to kill the most outspoken church that opposes the woke, far-left issues the Biden administration is pushing worldwide: abortion, transgenderism, homosexuality, death of the family unit, child indoctrination against freedom, and so much more. Wake up, communism is already here!

Catholics are not a threat to the United States.

A must-read and pass on from the incredible Archbishop Vigano, who throughout the pandemic and lockdowns, before and after, "spilled the beans" on the reality of the death of freedom. He is so right, we take back our world now in the name of God, or become enslaved by the elite.

Read his incredible thoughts and plan of action.

Announcing an exciting event, so grab your calendar for the 1st ever "7th Heaven Sale" to be held on Saturday, July 24th from 8-6 in the gym at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception school on the corner of Beall Ave. and Bowman Street in Wooster. The actual address is 527 Beall Ave. for those who use GPS.

Inspired by Jen Hatfield's book, "7", we are encouraging donations of very good condition, clean, usable and unique items in the categories mentioned on our event info sheet. No clothes will be accepted other than baby clothes, ages newborn-24 months, in very good condition (no stains)

This is not a rummage sale; it is specifically designed to be a sacrifice of wants vs. needs to get closer to Jesus, by living simply, not letting consumerism and materialism become a god in our life. It's an experiment that the author of "7" lived for 7months; each month with a different focus. of 7 things. Our fundraiser is focusing on month #3, possessions. Jen Hatfield gave up 7 things a day for 30 days, and she struggled.

We realize that giving up 210 items may not be realistic for everyone, even for some families, but we are finding out that many people who have pledged to donate, are indeed pledging 210 items!

We've already gotten pledges of a camping tent, bicycles, lots of jewelry, a generator, a Step 2 toddler wagon, a tile saw, furniture, collectibles, and so much more....all in very good condition. Remember, these are items that are being sacrificed to rid lives of excess and greed in order for us to focus on what is important, and to realize we have so much while the overwhelming majority of those in this world have so little.

Items can be brought to St. Mary school gymnasium on Thursday, July 22 from noon-5, and Friday, July 23 from noon-7. Volunteers will be there to help unload.

Now, here's the part that makes this sale even more special; we are encouraging everyone to attend the sale, and bring lots of friends, family, neighbors, colleagues, and others. The whole premise is to buy what you need, what you can give as gifts, what you can donate to a cause or organization, or to surprise someone who has a need they can't afford or get on their own. It's all about getting closer to Jesus!

Proceeds will benefit the St. Mary Youth Group trip to a multi-day conference in Indianapolis this fall, and the Mission Possible A to Z start-up preschool program in the country of Zambia in Africa. Most families cannot afford the $3.50 per month tuition at the poor government school "out in the bush" where Mission Possible A to Z works. These families also can't afford to give their children a breakfast to help them focus on learning, rather than their rumbling tummies. Our program will allow hundreds of children to attend school, and our mission will provide a banana and a cup of goat milk each day for breakfast. This is life-changing!
