Big things are happening at Catholic Charities!
Last week was a busy and exciting one! We wrapped up our rummage sale and are so grateful to everyone who donated, shopped, and supported our efforts. Your generosity makes a difference!
We also had the opportunity to go door-to-door and introduce ourselves to some of our soon to be neighbors as we prepare for our move to 212 East Liberty St. It was wonderful to start building connections and sharing a little about who we are and how we serve our community
Here are a few sneak peaks of our new space… And trust us, there’s more to come! Stay tuned for updates as we get closer to opening our doors and welcoming the community into our new home!

We’re proud to have Chrystal Hummel-Mizer represent Catholic Charities and the Wayne County Family and Children’s First Council at this year's 2026 KIDS Summit in Columbus!

As an FCFC Executive Member and Chair of the Wayne County FCFC Early Childhood Coalition, Chrystal shared her expertise as a Catholic Charities Home Visitation Program Administrator, Ohio Infant Mental Health Family Practitioner Level II, and kinship caregiver.

She also had the honor of meeting Governor Mike DeWine and his wife, Frances! What a meaningful day supporting children, families, and stronger communities.
