The University of Alabama and the University of Maryland have launched the National LGBT Alumni Survey. The goal of the survey is to investigate the philanthropic behaviors and attitudes of le***an, gay, bisexual, transgender, and q***r (LGBTQ) undergraduate alumni from four-year higher education institutions. Going True will be at Homecoming 2013 (Sept. 20-22, 2013), here is our schedule:

-Saturday, Sept. 21 @ 11:00 am - Business Meeting in Lowry Center, open to everyone! Meet and connect!

-Sunday, Sept. 22 @ 11:30 am - John Plummer Scholarship Ceremony in Babcock Formal Lounge - This year marks the 6th anniversary of the John Plummer Memorial Scholarship for Promoting a Welcoming Campus for LGBTQ People at The College of Wooster. The scholarship is open to all students, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity. In fact, non-gay allies play an important role in eradicating stigma and in extending the boundaries of knowledge and respect. A member of the Going True Steering Committee will be speaking at this event as well.

Special Event! Come see Tony Kushner's epic play "Angels in America, Part 1 - Millennium Approaches" performed at the Wilma Theater in Philadelphia, PA on Saturday, October 20th, 8:00 pm.

"Angels in America: A Gay Fantasia on National Themes," examines the AIDS crisis during the mid-eighties through a group of separate but connected individuals.
