🤰 Why is routine STI testing part of prenatal care?

Many people are surprised to learn that STI testing is a standard and important part of prenatal care. The reason is simple: some sexually transmitted infections can be present without any symptoms, yet still affect both mom and baby during pregnancy.

Routine testing helps healthcare providers:
✔️ Identify infections early
✔️ Provide treatment when needed
✔️ Reduce the risk of complications during pregnancy and delivery
✔️ Help protect the health of both mother and baby

We offer FREE and confidential STI testing and treatment services. If you have questions about your sexual health or pregnancy, we're here to help with compassionate, confidential care.

Whether your support comes from a partner, a parent, a friend, a church family, or a caring community - having people in your corner can make all the difference during pregnancy.

Support looks different for everyone. It may be someone who listens without judgment, helps with practical needs, attends appointments, sends an encouraging text, or simply reminds you that you are not alone.

If you're pregnant and feeling overwhelmed, know that it's okay to lean on others. And if someone in your life is expecting, your support could mean more than you realize.

We would love to be a part of that support system. From pregnancy services and education to parenting classes and material assistance, we're here to walk alongside you every step of the way.

🚨 We Need More Volunteers — Urgently! 🚨

As the number of clients walking through our doors continues to grow, so does our need for volunteers.

Every week, families come to us looking for hope, support, education, and practical resources. Right now, we have a waiting list for some of our services and are in need of caring individuals willing to serve alongside us.

Volunteer opportunities include:
❤️ Nurses (RN)
-Day and time is flexible but must be one 3 hour shift a week
❤️ Receptionists
-Monday 10am-1pm
-Tuesday 10am-1pm, 1pm-4pm
-Thursday 10am-1pm
-Friday 10am-1pm
❤️ Client Advocates:
-Monday 10am-1pm, 1pm-4pm
-Tuesday 10am-1pm, 1pm-4pm, 4pm-7pm
-Thursday 10am-1pm, 1pm-4pm
-Friday 10am-1pm, 1pm-4pm

You don't have to have all the answers—you just need a willing heart and a desire to make a difference.

Parents, mentors, teachers, and community members all play an important role in helping teens make informed decisions. Open conversations, accurate information, and positive guidance can empower young people to set goals, build confidence, and make healthy choices for their future.
