Meet the Board Monday: Amanda Jacobson
"I am an Intervention Specialist with Wooster City Schools, where I have been serving students and families for the past 4 years. Previously, I taught at Northwestern Local Schools for 9 years. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education with a Reading Endorsement from Notre Dame College. In 2015, I completed my master’s degree in special education. Throughout my career, I have been committed to supporting diverse learners and helping each student reach their full potential through individualized instruction and meaningful learning experiences."

What inspired you to join the board/want to work for the CAC?
"Working with children especially those who have experienced abuse has inspired me to become a stronger voice and advocate for those who may not be able to speak up for themselves when they need it most"

Meet the Board Monday: Drianna Lewis

"I live in Wooster, Ohio with my husband and our three young children, who keep us on our toes. My husband and I are both Wooster natives and graduates of Wooster High School, and we enjoy raising our family in the community where we grew up. I have a bachelor's degree in business management from Walsh University and currently serve as the Director of Account Services and Point of Sale Strategy at Certified Angus Beef in Wooster, Ohio."

What inspired you to join the board/want to work for the CAC?
"I’ve always felt strongly about supporting children facing difficult circumstances. Joining the CAC felt like a meaningful way to give back and use my time and skills to help further an important mission in our community."

Tell us something you wish people knew about the CAC?
"I wish more people knew about the incredible work the CAC does to support children and families during some of the most difficult times in their lives. It’s a place of safety, healing, and hope… where a compassionate team comes together to care for and advocate for children affected by abuse and trauma."
