Anazao Community Partners Promoting health, hope and a renewed life. Our treatment services include assessment, individual, group, marital and family counseling.

Our intervention services include a wide variety of outreach programs for individuals who are involved with the criminal justice system, in unstable families or in need of assistance to find employment. Our prevention services work with the schools, community groups and organizations to prevent problems with chemical dependency or mental illness. Our staff includes psychologists, mental health counselors, chemical dependency counselors, social workers, prevention specialists, vocational specialists and case managers. Your Human Resource Center is dually certified by the State of Ohio and by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) as both a mental health facility and substance abuse treatment center.

It’s World Mental Health Day, and we believe art can play a meaningful role in supporting mental health and quality of life.

Making art can help reduce stress, boost mood and self-esteem, and provide an outlet for emotions. It can also support cognitive function, while giving us opportunities to slow down, be present, express ourselves, and connect with others.

Today, we’re encouraging everyone to take care of their mental health and make time for the things that help you feel grounded, connected, and inspired.

We’re also grateful for the local organizations doing important work to support mental health and well-being in our community, including NAMI Wayne and Holmes Counties, OneEighty, Inc. and Anazao Community Partners. Thank you for the care, connection, and support you provide to our community.

Opioid settlement dollars are creating new opportunities for impact in communities across Ohio.

As Regional Grant Cycle 2 award announcements continue, we’re pleased to announce that the OneOhio Recovery Foundation Board of Directors has approved $1.21 million in grant funding for 8 organizations serving Region 11, including:

🔵 Aim Women's Center
🟢 Anazao Community Partners
🔵 Coleman Health Services
🟢 Cumberland Trail Fire District
🔵 Harrison County General Health District
🟢 Healthcare 2000 Community Clinic, Inc. (DBA Viola Startzman Clinic)
🔵 Legal Aid of Southeast and Central Ohio - LASCO
🟢 SMART Recovery USA

Together, these awards will bring prevention, crisis response, treatment and recovery supports closer to rural communities, strengthen post-overdose engagement and support pregnant women, young people and families.

Through Regional Grant Cycle 2, approximately $45 million will be made available statewide, adding to the more than $45 million awarded to 245 projects through OneOhio’s inaugural grant cycle.

Truck pulls. Sprint cars. A quiet day fishing. There’s more to Tiffany Henline than you might know.

Tiffany is Anazao’s Account and Systems Coordinator, and she’s been part of our team for nearly 12 years. What brought her here? People. What keeps her here? Helping people realize they aren’t alone, that it’s okay to not be okay, and that they’re stronger than they think.

One thing she wishes more people knew about therapy: “It’s more than just sitting in an office and talking.”

Outside the office, you might find Tiffany at a truck or tractor pull, watching sprint car races, or out hunting and fishing.

By the end of the week, you have forms, voicemail messages, school questions, insurance questions—and a second full-time job no one hired you for.

Sometimes the hardest part of asking for help is wondering what it will cost.

At Anazao, money should not stop the conversation. We accept all Ohio Medicaid plans. For most covered services, your cost is $0. If you have private insurance, we bill it first. If you do not have insurance, our sliding fee scale may lower the cost based on your household income and size.

Some of the hardest moments in a school day do not wait for an appointment. That is where Laura Hansen steps in.

For more than four years, Laura has supported youth as an Anazao therapist and crisis coordinator with Wooster City Schools. She works with students, staff, families and community partners so any student facing a mental health crisis can receive support and help finding the right care—even if they are not already enrolled in services.

Laura recently added a new role as Clinical Supervisor, helping Anazao staff meet clients’ needs with skill and compassion. Her approach is shaped not only by training, but also by lived experience with mental health, addiction and crisis in her own family.

And then there is Benny. His gentle presence brings calm and a little joy to students and clients when they need it most.

Laura says, “Therapy is a journey that is worth taking.” We are grateful she—and Benny—are walking that journey with our community.

September is Su***de Prevention Month. But support should not wait for the worst day.

If someone you care about has pulled away, is talking as if others would be better off without them or simply doesn’t seem like themselves, check in. Ask directly: “Are you thinking about suicide?” Then listen without judgment and help them connect with support.
