e are dedicated to educating area youth (grades 5 to 12), parents, and community members about the risks of alcohol, to***co, and other drug use. Our goals include:
▪Delaying when youth start using alcohol, to***co, or another drug (onset)
▪Lowering repeat or regular usage rates (30-day)
▪Increasing the perception/understanding of the risks
▪Building parental and community awareness that underage substance use is unacceptable in our community
▪Increasing developmental assets for youth in our community so they can reach their full potential

Our projects include:
▪Family strengthening activities
▪Awareness campaigns and community education
▪Alcohol Vendor Training
▪Supporting law enforcement in prescription (Rx) and over the counter (OTC) drug turn-in programs and alcohol vendor compliance checks
▪Parent Alerts – a monthly email newsletter with easy, practical substance prevention tips and information parents can use at home to help safeguard their children
▪Much more

If you would like to volunteer, need more information, or wish to sign up for Parent Alerts, please contact Kristina Hoskins at [email protected].

𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗠𝗲𝗻’𝘀 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵!

While we often focus on men’s physical health — like fitness and heart health — it’s just as important to care for mental well-being. Mental health is health.
Sadly, men are nearly 4x more likely to die by su***de than women. This silent crisis needs our attention. Together, we can break the stigma and build a culture where men feel safe to speak up and seek help.

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗖𝗮𝗻 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗽?

🗣️ Start a conversation – Check in with the men in your life: dads, brothers, friends, coworkers. A simple “How are you?” can go a long way.
📲 Share resources – Post about mental health services, hotlines, and support groups. Let others know help is out there — and it works.
🏠 Create safe spaces – Whether at home, work, the gym, or church, foster environments where men feel comfortable opening up without judgment.

Let’s support one another and make sure no one struggles in silence.

“The norms and attitudes of the community can greatly impact underage drinking behaviors. When alcohol is widely available, accessible, and visible, it can change how young people view drinking and normalize underage drinking behavior. Coalitions, schools, and local organizations can make a significant impact by implementing prevention strategies that address retail and social access, as well as changing community norms surrounding alcohol use.”

𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗠𝗲𝗻’𝘀 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵!

CIRCLE Coalition is proud to recognize Men’s Health Month (June 2026) and International Men’s Health Week (June 15–21, 2026) in support of improving the health and well-being of men and boys in all phases of life.

This year’s national theme, “Partners in Care: Advancing Men’s Health Through Connection, Education, and Advocacy—For Better Lifespans Across the Lifespan,” emphasizes that men’s health does not happen in isolation. Health outcomes are shaped by relationships, with partners, families, caregivers, workplaces, and communities, and strengthening these care partnerships is essential to improving long-term outcomes.

Men continue to experience higher rates of preventable illness and premature death. In the U.S., men die on average 6 years earlier than women, often from conditions that are preventable or manageable with early detection and consistent care. This gap underscores the importance of education, awareness, and proactive engagement.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗨𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴

“As a parent, your choices send powerful messages. If you provide alcohol to minors, you’re showing teens that it’s okay to ignore rules or that being “cool” matters more than their health. Taking away the car keys may prevent drinking and driving, but it ignores the many other dangers of underage alcohol use, like brain development issues, risky behavior, and addiction.

Giving teens alcohol doesn’t teach responsibility – it signals permission. This often encourages more experimentation, not less. Instead, parents should act as the first line of defense against underage drinking by setting clear expectations and following through with consequences.”
