A couple of important dates to keep in mind as the school year approaches.

6th Grade Transition Camp
To help our incoming sixth-grade students feel comfortable and confident, we are offering two Transition Camp sessions. Students may attend one of the following:

Friday, August 14 | 10:00-11:30 AM

Monday, August 17 | 4:00-5:30 PM

During camp, students will:

Tour the building

Practice opening their lockers

Learn about their schedules

Become familiar with middle school routines

Meet members of our middle school staff

Parents and guardians are invited to attend an informational meeting during the final 30 minutes of either session:

Friday: 11:00-n 11:30 AM

Monday: 5:00-a 5:30 PM

This meeting will be led by Mr. Dotson and Mrs. Nelson and will provide important information to help families prepare for the school year.

8th Grade Adventureland Trip
Friday, August 7

Departure Times & Locations:

Woodward students: Please arrive at the old middle school entrance by 9:00 a.m.

Granger students: Please meet at the front entrance of the elementary school by 9:15 a.m.

We plan to leave Adventureland at 4:00 p.m., with an expected return time of approximately:

4:45 p.m. in Woodward

5:00 p.m. in Granger

Parents who prefer to provide their own transportation are welcome to do so. If you choose this option, please have your child meet the group near the main entrance of Adventureland by 10:00 a.m.

Back-to-School Night
Thursday, August 20 | 4:00-6:00 PM

Come meet our outstanding teachers and staff while exploring our beautiful new middle school! Students and families will have the opportunity to:

Meet teachers

Tour the building

Walk through class schedules

Locate classrooms and lockers

Begin making connections before the first day of school
