MOPS - Woodward The Woodward MOPS group is comprised of moms looking to grow in their faith and relationship with one another. Our group is a combined MOPS and MOMSnext group.

The group provides free childcare & breakfast while having the opportunity to discuss life, motherhood, and the gospel of Jesus Christ. MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers, and by preschoolers we mean kiddos from birth through kindergarten. MOPS International is an organization that exists to meet the needs of every mom. There are more than 3900 MOPS groups meeting across the United States and

in 35 countries around the world. MOPS groups meet regularly to celebrate the joys of motherhood and to encourage each other through the challenges. MOMSnext is MOPS, but for mothers of school aged children (kindergarten and above). MOPS International encourages and equips moms of young children to realize their potential as mothers, women and leaders, in relationship with Jesus, and in partnership with the local church.

Our Story

MOMS Woodward is a group of local moms that desire to build community among one another by sharing struggles and triumphs, vulnerabilities and the inevitable “me too!”; as well as offer hope, through Jesus, in the way we gather, speak, and love one another. We welcome moms of all ages with children of all ages. Outside of our normal meetings, we also have events like MOMS Night Out, playdates, Date Nights, and service projects. We function under the organization of MOPS International.

MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers, and by preschoolers we mean kiddos from birth through kindergarten. MOPS International is an organization that exists to meet the needs of every mom. There are more than 3900 MOPS groups meeting across the United States and in 35 countries around the world. MOPS groups meet regularly to celebrate the joys of motherhood and to encourage each other through the challenges. MOMSnext is MOPS, but for mothers of school aged children (kindergarten and above). Our group is a combined MOPS and MOMSnext group. To register for MOMSnext, your youngest child needs to be in kindergarten or above. MOPS International exists to encourage, equip and develop every mother of preschoolers to realize her potential as a woman, mother and leader in the name of Jesus Christ.
