We know times are tough for many families in our community with SNAP benefits ending, and we want to to remind those experiencing food insecurity that we provide a FREE meal every Tuesday and Saturday 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. at the First Christian Church Woodward. ❤️

We are cancelling our meal this coming Tuesday, Feb. 18th due to extreme cold weather conditions.

The Hope Center’s Day Center will be open with extended hours due to these extreme conditions if you are needing food/shelter.

Today is the day‼️We will be serving a FREE meal to those with food insecurity every Tuesday & Saturday 5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. in the basement of the First Christian Church Woodward (1316 9th St.).

“For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me.” (Matthew 25:35)

After having been closed for about a year, a local soup kitchen is about to reinvigorate its program, which served Woodward’s hungry population for about 12 years.

Many have reached out asking how to get involved with Woodward Community Kitchen. First off, thank you for the support you have shown us already in getting the word out!🙌🏻

We currently have the rest of the 2024 calendar year completely covered with rotating volunteer cooking teams. If you would like to be put on a sub list in case a team needs an extra hand, please DM me with your name and contact information.

You can also help our ministry by donating to our pantry and freezer. If you would like to donate, please DM our page to coordinate.

(Please keep in mind that we typically serve anywhere from 50-75 individuals per meal when donating pantry items.)

Spread the word, Woodward Community Kitchen is officially opening its doors on Tuesday, March 5th! Join us for a FREE hot meal every Tuesday and Saturday from 5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m., located in the basement of First Christian Church Woodward (1316 9TH ST. WOODWARD, OK).

Formally known as Grace Outreach Ministry, we are excited to continue the legacy of service started by three friends who saw the need to feed the hungry in Woodward.❤️
