Woodward Friends and Neighbors Day

Woodward Friends and Neighbors Day Creating lasting memories through small town traditions is Friends & Neighbors mission. We are a not for profit organization operated by volunteers.

Woodward Friends and Neighbors Day is an annual celebration held on the first weekend in June. We fundraise year around to ensure we have the funds needed to bring entertainment and community events to Woodward. This page was created as a place for the community to find out what fundraising events we have planned throughout the year, such as Bingo, Egg My House, WFN Golf Tournament, Yard of the Month and more. If you have any comments, suggestions or ideas of other fun things to do, let us know! Would you like to join our committee or volunteer with helping with our events? We meet every 3rd Thursday of every month at 6:30 PM, message us for more details. Woodward, Iowa is 30 miles NW of Des Moines, in NE Dallas County, home of the High Trestle Trail Bridge. This old railroad bridge on the High Trestle Trail spans one-half mile across the Des Moines River, 13 stories high with special lighting and six overlook spots where people can step aside and enjoy the scenic views.
