FOW is excited to share an updated trail map for the Whitehall Conservation Area (WCA) peninsula!

In October 2025, a historic achievement was reached when the remaining privately-owned land on the peninsula at the North end of Lake Whitehall became conservation land, permanently preserving and protecting the entire peninsula from future development. Thanks to years of hard work and strong partnerships, visitors can now enjoy newly marked trail colors on WCA land (Town/HALT/FOW) and beautifully named trails throughout the Laurel Ridge property (privately-owned conservation land; partnership with SVT).

Please note, the Whitehall State Park Loop Trail on Mass DCR land has not changed and is still blazed with yellow dots.

‼️ANOTHER EVENT UPDATE‼️
Unfortunately, we need to postpone the Hopkinton Springs Hotel Archeological Tour a second time due to the rain forecast. The tour is now scheduled for 3:00 PM on Sunday, October, 11th.
We do not wish to conduct the tour in the rain so if it is raining at 3:00 on October 11th, we will reschedule for next Spring.
