For more than 25 years, Shenandoah Community Health Clinic has been here for our community—providing medical, dental, behavioral health, and support services to those who need them most.
Today, like many healthcare organizations across the country, we are facing significant challenges brought on by changing healthcare policies, reductions in funding, and increasing demand for care. We have already seen more individuals and families needing affordable healthcare services, and we expect those needs to continue growing.
We want our community to know one thing: this is not the end of Shenandoah Community Health Clinic.
Over the coming weeks and months, we will be evaluating our programs, services, and operations to determine how we can best restructure and adapt to ensure the clinic remains a sustainable resource for our community for years to come. Some changes may be necessary, but our commitment to serving Shenandoah County and the surrounding region remains unchanged.
Our focus is not simply on surviving today's challenges—it is on building a stronger, more sustainable clinic that can continue providing access to healthcare regardless of a person's ability to pay.
We are grateful for the patients, partners, volunteers, donors, staff, and community members who have stood beside us throughout the years. Your support has helped make our work possible, and your continued support will help shape what comes next.
The road ahead may look different than it does today, but we believe the need for accessible healthcare in our community is greater than ever. We remain committed to finding solutions, strengthening partnerships, and continuing to serve.
Thank you for believing in our mission and in the future of healthcare in our community.
