We are so excited to host this remarkable filmmaker at Silver Sun this Fall 2025!!

🎉We’re thrilled to announce that Bury A Dove, a project by Noga Chevion (Noga Chevion ), has won two prestigious residencies via our partnerships with Silver Sun Foundation (Silver Sun Foundation ) and The Jacob Burns Film Center (Jacob Burns Film Center )!

🌟 Silver Sun Foundation Residency Award
Offers private housing, $1,000 stipend, and editing facilities in Woodstock, NY.

“We are delighted to award our 2025 Silver Sun Foundation Residency to Close-Up filmmaker Noga Chevion in support of her documentary project ‘Bury a Dove’, which offers a unique insight into the life and work of the iconic Israeli artist Dov-Or-Ner while following the filmmaker’s compelling personal journey in connection with this controversial artist.Chevion’s focus on the artist’s lifelong exploration of Israeli cultural taboos, including the normalization of violence, speaks to a timely crisis in the contemporary political landscape of the Middle East as well as the urgency to illustrate the moral ambiguity of this moment in Israel. This topic underscores much broader global implications, and we support the filmmaker’s resolve and courage in taking on this difficult and complex subject which will certainly resonate with international audiences”

🌟 The Jacob Burns Film Center Residency Award
Includes housing, editing suite, $500 weekly stipend per person, travel coverage, and full access to Media Arts Lab & JBFC Theatre.
