As you know, 2020 has been anything but normal. During these unprecedented times, many of our 4-H livestock members have continued to work tirelessly on their projects despite shows and fairs being cancelled. In order to support our 4-H livestock exhibitors and continue to provide you with high quality meat products, we have decided to host an online auction. Our online auction will be hosted by Final Drive Youth Auctions. This platform was specifically made for the youth exhibitors whose fairs and shows have been canceled. The company is very reputable and respected throughout the country.

The dates for the online auction will be Thursday, August 6, starting at 6:00pm with bidding ending on Saturday, August 8, at 12:00 Noon. You can view pictures of the animals online at https://www.bwfinaldrive.com/auctions. Please see the enclosed sheets for more information, directions, and helpful links. You will be able to login and bid on the animal(s) of your choice. There is also a search function if you are looking for a specific exhibitor to support. In the past, animals were purchased with bids offered per pound. With the online format, animals will be purchased with bids leading to an overall price for the animal. Also, new this year, is the option to support 4-Hers even if you are unable to purchase the animal. In order to do this, find the exhibitor you are willing to support, and make a donation of your choosing.

Once bidding has concluded, an invoice will be sent to your email address by Final Drive Youth Auctions. Payments can be made using check, automated check, wiring money, or using debit/credit cards with a 3% convenience fee.

We would again like to thank you for your continued support of our 4-H livestock exhibitors. 4-H has the motto: “To Make the Best Better.” With your support and generosity we are determined to help make this less than best situation a little better for our 4-Hers.
