A 2026 HEARTFELT FAREWELL!!!

After 8 incredible years, we are officially closing the chapter on SmileUp! Charitable Foundation.

What began as a vision grew into a movement powered by compassion, service, and community. Because of our volunteers, partners, and supporters, countless lives were touched and countless smiles were shared.

While SmileUp! is coming to an end, the impact lives on—in the communities we served and the hearts of everyone who believed in this mission.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being part of the SmileUp! journey. This is not goodbye to the work—it’s gratitude for a legacy built together.

Merry Christmas from all of us at SmileUp! Our generous community partners donated nearly 200 gifts for 11 families including 39 children in the community. Thank you to Baird & Baird Family Dentistry, Ursula and Associates Towne Lake, Woodstock, Canton, Real Estate Experts, Law Office of Jay G. Wall, and YMCA of Cherokee County for making so many Christmas wish lists a reality this year! Your generosity and love for your community is valued and appreciated!

Y’all! The Coats, Cookies & Cocoa event put on by the Bailey family over the weekend was a HUGE success! Thank you to everyone who stopped by to donate a new coat to be donated to The Children’s Haven! The Bailey family has collected nearly 100 coats and there is still time to donate. New coat donations (all sizes) are being accepted through December 13th and may be dropped off at the Bailey home located at 324 London Dale, Woodstock or at the Peach Cobbler Factory - Woodstock GA

Join us THIS SATURDAY, December 6th from 1–3 PM at 324 London Dale in Woodstock for a heartwarming holiday event!

We're collecting **new kids' coats** to help keep children warm this winter—and we’re celebrating your generosity with:

✉️ Letters to Santa

💝 SmileUp! volunteers will earn **½ hour of service credit for every coat donated** so bring your friends and spread the cheer!

🎄 🕎 ⛄️ 🕯️ 🪔 🎆 This incredible team of SmileUp volunteers selflessly shared their time and talents, spreading holiday cheer and creating lifelong memories for foster children through the magic of holiday decorations. Thank you all for bringing smiles to children (and adults, too!)

What a great way to get your kids involved and help bring joy to a senior citizen!

Cherokee County Senior Services is asking for donations for its annual Adopt-A-Senior program ahead of the holiday season.

Requested gift items include blankets, gift cards, book of stamps, canned food, non-perishable foods, candies, cookies, snacks, full-sized toiletries, hand soaps/sanitizers, word searches, playing cards, batteries, calendars, tissues, magnifying glass, medicine bottle/jar opener and eyeglass chains.

Senior Services will accept gifts through Saturday, Dec. 6. Gifts can be dropped off at the Cherokee County Senior Center located at 1001 Univeter Road in Canton. Drop off times are Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. and on Saturday, Dec. 6 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. All donated items should be new, unwrapped and placed in a holiday bag.
