One of our amazing Care4 supporters, Cathy, just took a piece of our mission halfway around the world! ✈️💙 She was spotted traveling through beautiful Milford Sound, New Zealand carrying her original Care4 duffle bag — the very same one from 10 years ago!

Not only is that bag built to last, but so is her support! Moments like this remind us that the Care4 community reaches far beyond our local events — it travels, it endures, and it connects us wherever we go.

All year long, our local high school cheer and dance teams face off as competitors — pushing each other, striving for titles, and repping their schools with pride.

But on Care4 Sunday morning, something special happens!

The rivalries fade. The uniforms change. And these amazing athletes come together with one purpose: to cheer on our Care4 participants. 🎉

Side by side, they clap, chant, dance, and lift up every walker and runner who crosses the start line — reminding us all that when it comes to caring for our community, we are stronger united than divided!

Not the rain.
Not the cold.
Not the puddles at the start line.

The Care4 Breast Cancer 5K was filled with laughter, music, pink tutus, medals held high, and moments worth celebrating — because every step taken represents hope, strength, and access to lifesaving care.

We celebrated survivors.
We celebrated fighters.
We honored the loved ones we lost much too soon.
We celebrated families and friends walking together.
And we celebrated a community that shows up — no matter the forecast.

Because when it comes to early detection, preventative care, and standing beside those impacted by breast cancer, nothing stops us!

Rain, cold, wind — none of it stopped this community.

At the Care4 Breast Cancer 5K, over a thousand people showed up for something bigger than a finish line. They walked. They ran. They volunteered. They cheered. All to make sure everyone has access to preventative care and early detection, no matter their income or insurance status.

Because early detection saves lives.
Because healthcare should never be a luxury.
Because when one person faces cancer, an entire community stands with them.

This event is a powerful reminder of who we are — neighbors showing up for neighbors, united by hope, compassion, and the belief that access to care can change everything.
