Proud Parents of Troops Northeast CT Association of Proud Parents of Troops is a nonprofit Association run by Mark & April Berquist of Woodstock, CT. Mark’s son, PFC Zachary D.

Berquist 170th IBCT 1-84th Field Artillery Regiment C-Battery is stationed in Afghanistan. The couple would like to provide Troops stationed in Afghanistan with as many Care Packages with much needed items as possible. Their goal is to provide all of the Men & Women that sign up with Proud Parents of Troops care packages throughout their deployment. The feeling of helplessness when your child is s

erving in a war is something that is overwhelming. It is not felt just by parents of troops serving but by family and friends alike. For that reason Mark & April have come together in asking The Quiet Corner Community of Woodstock for your support of Northeast CT Proud Parents of Troops. This can be done by donating items, time and money to the various events scheduled to be held. We have multiple drop off’s around the Quiet Corner. In addition, if you have a loved one from the Quiet Corner that is serving in Afghanistan and would like for them to receive a care package or if you would like to help with a fundraiser at your place of business or school please contact Mark or April @ [email protected]
