The KMA is governed by a board that consists of 4 officers and 4 directors. Board members are elected annually by the membership.
Officers serve for a term of one year. Directors for three years, with the exception of the director who is the past-President, who only serves until the election of a new President. For 2011-2012 the KMA Board consists of:

Each year the KMA sponsors several annual social events. In recent years these have included a December Holiday party, a spring brunch with Easter Egg hunt for children, a Summer Party, and the well attended KMA annual meeting and dinner. The KMA has also negotiated a significant discount on propane from AmeriGas. This discount is available to current, regular members of the KMA.
The KMA is funded by membership dues.
