Kings Mountain Volunteer Fire Brigade, Inc. The Kings Mountain Volunteer Fire Brigade, Inc. is a non-profit corporation that funds and supports the Kings Mountain Fire Department.

It is a 501(c)3 organization, EIN No. 94-1650185. The Kings Mountain Fire Department (KMFD) responds to fire and medical emergencies to our local community, located along the mountainous Skyline corridor in an unincorporated area of San Mateo County. As the KMFD is an all-risk fire department, the volunteers are trained for the same emergency services as provided by paid fire departments in the co

unty. Some of these services include medical aids, structure fires, wildland fires, vehicle fires, rope rescues, and hazardous materials spills. The KMFD responds to mutual aid requests throughout the county, with over 300 emergency calls per year.
