Bountiful Rugby RFC Bountiful Rugby The program provides instruction to community youth in the South Davis region on how to play 15-aside and 7- aside rugby union.

Bountiful Rugby initially began as the South Davis Rugby Football Club LLC, June, 4, 2010 as a not for profit athletic association, regionally organized and focused on developing and sustaining multiple competitive
varsity and junior varsity rugby teams for local High Schools and Junior Highs. The club is responsible to the Utah Youth Rugby program (UYR) under the Rugby Utah Union (RU), and USA Ru

gby (USAR). USA Rugby operates within the International Rugby Board (IRB) as well as the Olympic structure. Rugby is a sport comprised of 15, 10, and 7 man squads, playing on a field 120 meters long and 70 meters wide. The game is 80 minutes long, divided into two 40-minute halves with a 10-minute halftime. Players must be able to run, pass, catch, kick, tackle, and communicate on a fast endurance field. We want the young men to enjoy their experience and succeed. While all of our staff serve as volunteers, we carefully select each candidate for our programs. For the demanding role of coach, trainer, or instructor, we recruit individuals with solid backgrounds in the sport and in their perspective fields. After an extensive background check, we choose qualified and certified personnel to act in
administrative and medical capacities. We desire to provide your sons the best possible training, care, services, and resources we can.

Rugby Union training and competition: eligibility is open to all high school aged male students, who at the start of the school year, are 18 years
and younger, and remain in good academic standing (2.0 GPA minimum throughout the season). Eligible participants must be enrolled in Viewmont, Bountiful, and Woods Cross High Schools, or Mueller Park,
South Davis, Millcreek, Bountiful, and Centerville Junior High Schools or equivalent schools or programs. Home schooled kids, private school, and charter schooled students are eligible for participation as long as they meet the age , Utah residency, and Bountiful school boundary and jurisdiction requirement.
