Pittie Please Rescue, NFP is a 501(c)3 foster based all-breed rescue located in the Chicagoland area. PPR is dedicated to educating and advocating for pit bull type dogs, who are often misunderstood and publicly misrepresented. Pittie Please Rescue is operated by passionate advocates who recognize the plaguing epidemic of pit bull type dogs. With an alarming number of relinquished dogs and high euthanasia rates, PPR believes that education and training are essential components to the mission of raising awareness, providing resources and eliminating the stigma against pit bull type dogs to assure the public sees beyond the label. Pittie Please Rescue strives to lower euthanasia rates, aid the public in accessing low cost spay/neuter programs, educate the public on responsible dog ownership and work towards every pet having the life long home he/she deserves
