Dickens in the Valley Holiday Home Tour; what a magical day!

Our hearts are overflowing with gratitude after another enchanted year of the Friends of Meals on Wheels ~ Dickens in the Valley Holiday Home Tour. There’s something truly special about wandering through beautifully decorated homes, taking in the sparkle of the season, and feeling the warmth of community all around. This treasured tradition continues to shine brighter each year, and that’s because of YOU.

To our incredible sponsors: thank you for believing in this event, for lifting up Meals on Wheels Yolo County through your generous support, and for helping us keep this cherished tradition thriving. Your contributions make a real difference in the lives of local seniors. We are deeply grateful.

To our gracious home hosts: thank you for opening your doors and your hearts. Your creativity, hospitality, and holiday magic breathe life into this tour. Every detail, every tree, every garland helped guests feel transported into a scene straight out of A Christmas Carol.

Thank you to all who attended the Dickens in the Valley Holiday Home Tour yesterday! It was a fabulous day! Thank you too to our committee members for all their work in organizing the event: everything went smoothly! And finally than you yo our home owners for doing an amazing job on their decorations and for opening their homes for our event! Mark your calendars for the first Saturday of December 2026! See you then!

More than 500 people toured five Woodland homes decorated for the Christmas holiday during Saturday’s Dickens in the Valley.
